What Sims CC hubs do we source CC items from?

We currently primarly link out to The Sims Resource, Curseforge and Patreon accounts. As the site grows more sites will be supported. If you would like your site or CC to be added to the database contact us via the contact form.

Do you host the downloads?

No. We link to official Sims CC download sources and Patreon accounts. Please support these communities and creators and always read their terms of use.

How do I download a CC item?

Content & Tagging

How are results shown?

Each result is displayed as a card that makes browsing CC easier and faster. Cards show a preview image, title, type, and source. They also include interactive options:

  • Click the creator’s name to see more items made by the same creator.
  • Use the “Find Similar” button to discover similar CC items. This works by comparing item tags (such as style, category, or function) and suggesting other content that matches or complements the current result.

These tools make it easier to explore collections, follow favorite creators, and discover CC that fits your build or style preferences.

What do the types mean (Furniture, Decor, Build, CAS)?
  • Furniture: buy-mode objects with room/style tags
  • Decor: accents (rugs, wall art, plants, lighting, etc.)
  • Build: structural (walls, windows, wallpaper, doors, stairs, roofs, etc.)
  • CAS: Create-A-Sim (clothing, hair, makeup, body details, accessories)

Note: Some items span categories; we choose the best fit to keep search results high-quality.

How do I request an item or pack to be added?

Send links (and any notes) via the contact form.

Search and Filters

How do I find specific CC quickly?
  • Use the search bar for keywords (e.g., “scandinavian sofa”). Results will be more accurate if your search query is more detailed i.e. "winter hat" vs. just "hat".
  • Filter by Type and Source
  • Try stacking search terms such as "mermaid underwater cas" or "punk skater outfits" to get a more accurate search results. Stacking terms is also helpful for finding the Vibe you are looking for.

Creators & Credits

Are creators credited?

Absolutely. Each item lists the creator and links to their page on popular Sims CC hubs. If credit is missing or incorrect, please tell us so we can correct it.

Do you mirror or redistribute files?

No. We do not host creators’ files or bypass paywalls/early access. We only link out.

Troubleshooting

Why does the first search take the longest?

The very first time you search, our AI engine needs to process and understand the database before delivering results. Think of it like “warming up” — once that’s done, future searches will be much faster and more personalized.

Does AI affect result speed?

Yes, AI searches can take a few extra seconds compared to a basic keyword search. That’s because the system is analyzing context, matching tags, and ranking CC from trusted creators to give you more accurate, curated results. The small wait means you get better matches without endless scrolling.

Why can't I link out?

Sometimes links change or posts are moved or taken down. We do our best to keep everything updated and remove broken links so your browsing stays smooth.

Legal

Is Sims CC Vault affiliated with EA or Maxis?

No. THE SIMS is a trademark of Electronic Arts Inc. We’re a fan-made directory and are not endorsed by or affiliated with EA/Maxis.
