Fall is officially here and it’s time to ditch the tanks and shorts and refresh your Sims closet with vault finds inspired by this season's hottest runway looks. It’s always fun to incorporate some of your own wish list items into your game-play and live a little bit vicariously through your Sim. Case in point - thigh-high boots are in this season but as a mom of three always running 5 mins late to pick up my kids from school I will sadly have to stick to my favourite Chuck Taylors and instead add them to my Sims CC closet. Below is a roundup of my favourite TSR Sims CC that are on point with this seasons looks.
1. Thigh-High Boots
Thigh-high boots dominated the fall runway this season - all colours, materials and heel heights are in. They look awesome over a pair of trousers or skinny jeans or under a mid-length skirt. Below are some of my favourite boots that will have your Sim walking tall this fall:
2. Faux-Fur Moments
Faux-fur is back and it was literally seen on almost every runway this season. Not only coats but faux-fur was also seen as an accent on many pieces such as trim on collars or sleeves. Some fun faux-fur vault finds to add to your Sims closet:
3. Animal Prints
Animal prints are everywhere this fall and all prints are in this season! Zebra, cheetah, leopard or snake? Take your pick and dress your Sim from head to toe not being scared to mix prints for a bold look or use your favourite print as a focal point and balance it out with solid pieces.
4. Warm, Oversized Knits
Nothing screams fall more than warm knits, but this season it’s oversized and snuggly. Cozy boxy sweaters and chunky scarves to keep your Sim warm as the leaves are falling. Some of my favourite focal point sweaters and scarves are below each of which can be paired with a black belt:
5. Preppy Back-to-School
Preppy elements like varsity jackets, rugby shirts and sweaters with polo knit and striped patterns are having a moment this fall. College is cool so live the part this back-to school season with these top preppy Sims CC finds from the vault:
